Vintage 1950s era 12” chop plate or platter produced by Royal China Co. USA in Sebring, Ohio. The scene on this piece is of the Amish people carrying out tasks in the fall on the farm. The Amish people are shown bringing in the pumpkins, putting up hay, hand cutting down the corn & making corn shocks, picking up apples, a man using a scythe to cut down grain, Amish women are bringing a large feast outside to a table in the shade under a tree to feed the the hardworking group of men (yes, I’m afraid that is what I said, remember this is a set produced in the 1950s before women were accredited for being capable of doing anything outside of the home). 🤣🤭The chop plate or platter measures 12” wide and is in excellent condition in my opinion. There are no chips, cracks, crazing or stains. There is only a few light utensil marks & the print is clear & vivid. Please review pictures carefully as they are part of the description. Thank you for looking !!
