The factory Burgundy Red paint and Black Convertible top (N2 Code) make a striking combination with deep clearcoat shine. It looks terrific in the sunlight, precisely what you want a convertible to do. You can also tell there was an investment that went well beyond the paint to ensure the body was completed correctly. The story on this one is that a Pontiac dealership owner in Texas initially bought it, and it stayed in the family until a few years ago. That's why you see careful attention to detail in the restoration. The new-for-1965 vertical stack headlights shine like jewels; all the trim is neat; correct GTO badging is on every side, big chrome bumpers shine like mirrors, and the intricate tail panel is complete. The whole package sits on a staggered set of polished Intro alloys.

When you open the hood, you can immediately see this motor was upgraded for both power and flair. The clean engine bay showcases fabricated Pontiac valve covers, a polished air topper, upgraded pulleys, an electric fan, and fresh rubber components. This is a 400 cubic-inch V8 that the consignor states has been bored and stroked to 467ci total. Plus, it has all the right go-fast goodies like Edelbrock heads, Edelbrock hi-rise intake, Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, and MSD ignition. Those long tube headers add even more power while contributing to the throaty rumble of the dual exhaust. You have complete control over this upgraded V8 and its thunderous soundtrack thanks to the five-speed manual transmission that has replaced the original automatic transmission (Code J). The factory-optioned power steering and power brakes help keep this stunning GTO easy to drive. This is a big power machine, so they also give you the right tools to harness it. General Terms

AVAILABILITY: We advertise our inventory across multiple websites. It is best practice to inquire about the advertised vehicle prior to purchasing in order confirm that it was not already sold. Vehicles may be sold prior to its eBay advertising ending, and we reserve the right to end advertising/listing early or to cancel any and all bids/offers solely at our discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.  In the event that a bidder has the winning bid or finalizes the buy it now price, but did not check availability and the vehicle was sold before a deposit and contracts were executed, then we are not liable nor responsible.  

AS-IS WHERE-IS: All vehicles are sold on an AS-IS WHERE-IS basis.  Having a third party inspection and addressing any concerns is recommended prior to purchase.  It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to verify all advertisements which shall include but not limited to options, accessories, and vehicle condition before time of sale.  If the purchaser chooses to waive an inspection, the AS-IS WHERE-IS is still enforced.  Any concerns will not be addressed post sale as the sale is final without cures or remedies.    
 
PAYMENT: We require a non-refundable $1,000 deposit within 24 hours of offer being placed.  A deposit is a commitment to purchase and is applied towards the purchase price. The commitment to purchase is not contingent upon inspection, financing, or any other terms or conditions. 
 
We require full payment within 7 days of offer acceptance, unless other arrangements are agreed to in writing.
 
If the deposit and/or full payment are not provided within said time frame, all vehicles will be relisted and transaction will be considered null and void. 
 
We accept wire transfer (preferred), cashier's check, personal check (vehicle shipment will be delayed until check clears), ACH, credit cards (for the agreed deposit amount only and will incur a 3% fee), and in person cash payments. We also offer vehicle financing, please inquire for details prior to making bids/offers.  PayPal and American Express are not accepted. 
 
VEHICLE RELEASE: Signed purchase packet which shall include but not limited to the purchase contract, cleared payment in full, and a copy of your driver's license will be needed before the vehicle is released.
