Rare Judaic Antique Amulet for Safeguarding a Child  Europe, 18 - 19th Century Kamea Kabbalah

Diameter: 38mm.

Weight 13 grams

Material: Metal Alloy resembles to bronze or Tin

Condition: as presented on the photos. The hanging hook is missing and there is a hole.

On the obverse the amulet has the letter "Hey" (God's name - Jehovah), in the center and in it a flowering branch.

The letter is surrounded by an inscription written in Hebrew:

“This child shall grow up for Torah wedding and good deeds”.

On the reverse side a pair of two miniature fish which is a symbol for fertility and good luck in Judaism as well as in Kabbalah and the inscription:

"May it be the will to save the baby of the People of Israel that it shall not get diphtheria,

and that they should grow up for Your Torah and protect them in Your mercy, Amen].
