Lehnert And Landrock Heliogravure "Palermo Fontanella pompeiana".

Lehnert & Landrock was a photographic studio run by Rudolf Franz Lehnert and Ernst Heinrich Landrock active in Tunisia and Egypt in the early 20th century, noted for producing Orientalist images. Rudolf Franz Lehnert and Ernst Heinrich Landrock produced images of North African people, landscapes, and architecture for a primarily European audience. These images were mainly distributed in monographs, though also as original prints, photogravures, and lithographic postcards.

A Heliogravure is a photographic printing process made up of two steps: A Photochemical process that creates the intaglio surface where the photographic image is etched into a copper plate. The copper plate is used to print the image onto etching paper using inks. The resulting image is a high quality photograph with warm rich sepia tones.

I don't know how photographs are rated, but this looks to be in very good condition.

Measures 11.75" x 9.25"
