PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR FURTHER IMAGES

Meccano Magazine was a classic magazine for boys that ran for decades and covered not only Meccano model making but also had a wide variety of other non-fiction articles. Aside from Meccano-related articles, it also featured Hornby trains, Dinky Toys and other products made by Meccano, plus a wide variety of general interest articles, including engineering, aircraft, trains, modelling, camping, photography and philately. Additionally, the adverts are wonderful!

In this issue:
  • Cover Picture - Casting Motor Cylinders on a Moving Conveyor
  • Firth of Forth Road Bridge
  • Farewell to Flying Boats - Sunderlands
  • Mechanised Motor Cylinder Casting - Pouring Ladle and Mould Conveyor Kept in Step - Chromidium - Midland Motor Cylinder Co, Smethwick
  • My Green Lizard by Hugh Newman - Jersey Green Lizards
  • Automatic Car Parks - Griggs Rotapark
  • Rocky Mountain National Parks
  • Volcanoes by Eric N Simons - Vesuvius

The magazine measures 20.5 x 14 cm and has pages 213 - 264, plus additional advertising pages

Condition: Good vintage condition - there is evidence of light reading wear with some creasing to the covers and internal pages - visible in the pictures below. The magazine pictured below is the one you will receive. Given that the magazine has celebrated its 65th birthday, its condition is very good, but certainly not perfect!

I accept returns, and if you'd like to see further pictures, or any questions - just ask!
