About Us

Blue Badge Co is UK manufacturer that makes attractive independent living aid, home comforts and travel accessories. Our seminal range is our stylish display wallets specially designed for disabled parking permit and the only genuine Hologram Safe© wallet on the market.


In August 2015, we made an appearance on BBC Two's Dragon's Den. Despite tempting investment offers, I made a bold decision to turn them down and uphold our commitment to UK manufacturing. This choice proved to be wise, propelling Blue Badge Co into a fast-growing, dynamic company with numerous awards.

Shipping

  • We ship orders six days a week, excluding Sundays and public holidays holidays
  • Orders received before 12:00 pm are dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 12:00 pm are dispatched the following working day
  • Standard shipping is via Royal Mail 48 or Evri with a delivery window of 2-3 working days
  • Express shipping is via Royal Mail 24 or Evri with a delivery window next working day
  • You will receive tracking code via email when the order is shipped

Return

We hope you are delighted with your purchase. In the unlikely event the item doesn’t meet your expectations, or if you simply change your mind and don’t need the item anymore, you have a right to return the item within 14 days from receiving it, as long as it’s unused and in the original packaging. Please note, if you ask for a refund, we will issue it when the item is returned, and the amount will only include the price of the item, it won’t include postage charges.

Here are some of the questions that we get frequently asked by customers:

How do I apply for a Blue Badge?
  • Unfortunately, we only provide the wallet for the parking permit to go in. You have to contact your local council to apply for a Blue Badge parking permit.
  • Does a Blue Badge Co wallet fit the new disabled parking permit?
  • Yes, all of our wallets have been re-designed to fit the new parking permit that’s being issued.
  • I haven’t received my Blue Badge permit?
  • Unfortunately we only provide the wallet for the parking permit to go in. You have to contact your local council to find out when your badge will be arriving.
  • Will the plastic acetate damage the hologram?
  • No, all of our wallets are specially designed to fit the hologram. The acetate stops before the hologram starts, therefore it’s never dragged underneath the plastic saving it from being scratched or damaged.
  • How do I change an order I've placed?
  • Should you need to change an item on your order, or amend your delivery address, please contact us by emailing hello@bluebadgecompany.co.uk. Due to the speed with which we dispatch orders, it may not always be possible to make changes but we’ll let you know what we can do. Please note that any amendments may result in your order being delayed.
  • I haven’t received my order yet, what shall I do?
  • Please be aware that strikes at Royal Mail have resulted in some U.K. deliveries being delayed. We care about our Posties and will be supporting the strikes, by not switching to another service during this time. However, we are processing and shipping order every day there aren’t strikes, to minimise disruption as much as possible. Please check the tracking details provided with your shipment email. If it says the order has been delivery but you still haven’t received it, get in touch with us at hello@bluebadgecompany.co.uk
  • I have received a faulty item. What should I do?
  • RETURNING YOUR ORDER IF GOODS ARE DAMAGED If your item is faulty, please get in touch with us and share images with details about the order to allow a thorough investigation. We will ask you to send the item back to us if needed. Upon inspection of the product, If a fault has been confirmed within 30 days of delivery, we will issue a full refund or a replacement depending on your preferences. If you find fault with your product after the 30 days cut off (but within six months of owning it), we can replace the item for you. If you find a fault after six months of owning the product and prove the defect was present when we delivered it, we'll follow the same processes outlined in point 2. Warranty Exclusions: Fading due to weather exposure or damage to fabrics through accident, misuse, or negligence. Please refer to the product packaging or website description for care information. Please Note, you have the same right to get a return or refund if you bought something faulty during a sale. If you ask for a refund on a sale item, you will receive back the amount you paid for. This will be the case even if the sale has ended and the item returned to its original price.
  • I can’t find the answer to my question – what should I do?

  • Will the Radar Key open all disabled toilets?
  • Wherever you see the sign ‘RADAR LOCK’ this key will open that toilet.
  • Are the RADAR keys genuine?
  • We sell genuine RADAR keys made by the same manufactures of the RADAR locks who recently changed their key to a blue bow as they want to differentiate themselves from the copies that are available on the market.
