This is an early Hoppe Hand Drill, from the 1950s. Made in Germany.

Used constantly until recently. Very smooth mechanically.

9" long with a 2 1/2" gear.
Wooden knob and handle.

Unlike Hoppe's later eggbeater drills, the handle is not detachable and does not have bit storage.
