Vintage Cape Cod Shop Metal Tankard/Pitcher Hand Hammered Smudge Pot Fire Starter & Wand with Stone. Arts & Crafts. Includes lidded tankard/pitcher, square underplate and wand with pumice/ceramic/soapstone starter. Pot has bracket attached to it (with rivets) in order to hang on a wall if desired. Wand is wrought iron with a fine detailed, twisted end. Starter is probably pumice. Pitcher/Pot is 6.25" high, 4" square at bottom and 3.25" square at top; wand is 11"long and under plate is 6" square. The Cape Cod Shop was one of the best-known makers of this product. Great vintage decor item. Pre-owned good vintage condition. No dents on pot or under plate. Some surface rust and darkening. Stone on wand is worn and pitted but tightly secured to threaded wand end with nut. Please see photos as these are part of description.
