Up for auction is a nice and hard to find bisque scuttle shaving mug from possibly Schafer Vater.It stands a little over 4" in height and has two different scenes on either side of what appears to be people depicting Greek culture going about their daily lives,all in low relief.This very cool mug has a sterling silver rim and is a dark blue in color with the figures all in white.I have taken the photos in normal lighting that depicts the true dark blue color and one with flash just for clarity purposes.In good condition with the only flaw being a 1/4" sliver of a chip on the base that does not show when displayed,I have tried to show it in the photo.No makers identification on the base.
