I have for sale a William Moorcroft vase, decorated in the Persian design, circa 1918.
The vase stands 4.75 inches in height, and measures, approximately, 16.5 inches around its widest point.
The top rim measures 2.5 inches in diameter and it measures 2.25 inches across the base.
The
vase is decorated very well, with good colours and neat and precise
tubelining, the design suits the shape very well.
The
vase is in good condition, there has been some restoration to the top
rim, a very small external chip has been restored to a professional
standard, it is now invisible to the naked eye, there is no restoration
to the inside of the top rim, the restoration does not affect the
display qualities of the piece, it displays very well.
Apart from the above mentioned, there is nothing else to note, there is no other restoration and no damage, guaranteed.
Any white marks or other are either camera glare or under glaze.
Who ever buys this vase will not be disappointed and it would make a great addition to any collection.
