9ct Gold Wedding Ring, London 1971, size I, 2.8gms.

Hello. From my own private collection I am now selling this lovely vintage wedding ring as it is no longer needed.

A small ring, size I, the band is engine turned engraved all the way around. It is of a good gauge of 9ct gold weighing in at 2.8gms.

Condition is superb, true to shape, no dents, splits or damage of any kind. The inside of the band shows only minor surface wear, nothing to worry about.

As such, hallmarking is very clear to see.

Maker - S&W

Purity - 9, 0.375, for 9ct gold

Date letter - a stylised 'q' for 1971, I do believe

Assay - a leopards head for London.

There is a seperate cartouche struck in to the inside of the band inside which is the word 'LUCKY'. Underneath is neatly engraved the number '1244'. I cannot recall what these extra markings refer to? Any helpers?? 😊

A stunning vintage ring in great condition for 53 years old. Who is the 'LUCKY' lady going to be? 😃

10 day auction, 99p start and with no reserve, no 'buy it now', I sell to the highest bidder only.

I will post by Royal Mail Special Delivery next day 1pm, fully insured to the selling price. This service costs a little more but is truly worth it giving peace of mind to us both.
