This collector ornament by Michael J Sutty depicts a Private, 5th (Northumberland) Fusilier from 1836. It is number 237 of the 250 produced. The predominately red & white figurine is made of bone china and stands at 22cm tall. It features intricate details of the uniform from the Period Uniforms of the British Army collection, including the iconic red & white tunic and bearskin headgear including the distinctive red & white hackle that is still worn today by current day Fusiliers.

The special edition figurine is signed by the artist and is an original piece, crafted in the United Kingdom during the 1980s. It would make a great addition to any room, particularly for those interested in military history and English style. Please note that this figurine is unboxed.

This figurine, along with the certificate of authenticity, was presented to Maj. J Hayman on his retirement from The Fusiliers in the late 80’s.
