About the player:

Luc Robitaille, a prolific goal scorer from Montreal, Quebec, etched his name in NHL history with his remarkable offensive talent. Drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in 1984, Robitaille quickly emerged as one of the league's premier left wingers. Known for his lethal wrist shot and hockey sense, he became the highest-scoring left winger in NHL history, surpassing the 600-goal milestone during his career. Robitaille's time with the Kings was marked by individual success, including winning the Calder Memorial Trophy as the league's rookie of the year in 1987. He also played a key role in transforming the Kings into a competitive franchise, helping lead them to the Stanley Cup Final in 1993. Robitaille's impact extended beyond his on-ice achievements, as he remains actively involved in various philanthropic endeavors and continues to contribute to the growth of hockey in Southern California. His legacy as one of the greatest goal scorers in NHL history was solidified with his induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2009, honoring his remarkable career and lasting influence on the game.
