FROGGY BOTTOM 2002 JUMBO ACOUSTIC GUITAR WITH CASE AS-IS FOR PARTS/REPAIR -READ!

FROGGY BOTTOM 2002 JUMBO ACOUSTIC GUITAR WITH CASE. This listing is for a damaged guitar that is being sold as-is for parts/repair. We aren't sure of the exact make/model. It seems to be in between their full size and jumbo builds. Maybe their F14? It appears to be rosewood back with Adirondack spruce top, and maple binding (look at the photos as we aren't experts on identifying wood types), abalone rosette and back-strap. It does have the popular scrimshaw heelcap. We'll put measurements below this description to help you identify it. It's an absolutely beautiful guitar who's head was broken off, and that suffered cracking around the outside edges of the upper-bout to middle of the lower bout area on both sides. We'll do our best to show everything in the photos. Most of the photos will be below this description so scroll down. The head is broken off and has one small vertical crack in the wood below the break, there's a tiny bit of cracking along the sides below the fingerboard from the nut, and the head has a tiny bit of shear (but not too bad at all). The cracks along the sides of the body aren't missing any pieces and come together quite cleanly if you're planning on repairing them. There are some finish cracks in the top that are in the finish and can only be seen at an angle, but not straight on. They are in the finish only and typical with a guitar of this age. There is one between the bridge and the sound hole on the seam that you can barely feel, but it again, is just the finish and not bad at all. The back of the body has some minor surface marks that could most likely just be buffed out. No real damage there. We did have a professional builder/luthier look at it. He's an hour away from us and would be willing to repair it fully and re-finish it for about $1200 including setup if this isn't something you want to tackle yourself. He said it wasn't a difficult repair, just time consuming (he is back-logged so keep that in mind if you want to use him. He could take several months to finish it). It comes with everything shown including the hard case. The case is a very nice padded hard case. It has some tape residue and minor surface marks on the outside, but is in overall good condition. Because of the nature, this is being sold as-is for parts/repair. These guitars sell new for $10k-$12k, and used are typically not found for less than $6000. This is your chance to save big-time if you're a do-it-yourselfer so don't miss out!! lower bout 16" wide, upper bout 11 5/8" wide, Body length 20", Body depth 4 3/16", Nut width 1 3/4" Scale length 24 1/4" Frets 20,
