The part is weathered and the chrome finish is flaking off in several areas. It will need to be refinished or painted.

The door mechanism is working. The mounting screws are also broken in some of the holes. 

Sorry I couldn't offer you a cleaner part, but someone with some skill can restore this back to glory.
