This 1860s carte de visite photo features the full length view of an actor wearing a beautifully tinted Native American costume and wielding an axe. He posed with his arms crossed and looked away from the camera. The image was taken by the Howard Brothers in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. He is identified as Henry L Boyant and the date 1867 is written on the back. Also written are details about his performance but they are difficult to read. 

The card measures about 2.5 x 4 inches. The card is slightly trimmed along the top.
