The face jugs I have for sale are made one at a time by Jason Feltrope a master potter.

Each one is sculpted different from each other so take a look at the others and see which one speaks to you.

The history of the face jug.

Face jugs are pottery jugs that depict a face. They have existed in ancient Greece and Pre-Columbian America. Early European examples date from the 13th century, and the German stoneware Bartmann jug was a popular later medieval and Renaissance form. The British Toby jug is a later example,

it goes on more than I want to post here.

I show "Jake" with Evangeline Ghastly holding him in her hand, for scale and for fun.

You can take some cord and string him up or sit him propped up on a shelf.

Maybe like an old fashion elf on the shelf but all year long.

And maybe a bit more spookier.

I like to think of them as an intercom system.

Or just a fun jug.

You also can use them for a necklace drop to confuse your friends.

The imagination for these are limitless.

The jugs are about a inch and a half.

All I will be showing are under 3" tall.
