Here is a Minolta MC W. ROKKOR-HG 35mm f2.8 wide-angle lens.

You probably don't know it, but Minolta made 16 versions of it's manual-focusing 35mm f2.8 lens.  This auction is for the FIFTH version.

  • This lens has a Minolta MC lens mount, and will fit and function perfectly on any manual-focusing Minolta SLR (from the first SR-2 to the last X-370), as well as many other SLRs from Seagull, Phoenix, Kalimar, Soligor, Vivitar -- that have a Minolta SR lens mount.

  • It will also work on any Minolta MAXXUM film camera with an appropriate adapter -- NOT INCLUDED.

  • It will also work on Minolta or Sony DIGITAL DSLR cameras with an appropriate adapter -- NOT INCLUDED.

  • It will also work on many other DIGITAL cameras with removable lenses (Canon, Nikon, etc.) with an appropriate adapter -- NOT INCLUDED.

The lens is compact, has a 52mm filter thread, very lightweight, has all-metal construction, has distance marked in feet and meters, IR mark, click stops at all half-f-stops, and is multi-coated.  It also features a stop-down button -- designed for cameras that lacked that feature.  Here are its specs:

There are no dents, dings, scrapes, etc. on the exterior.  The paint is in good shape -- see pictures -- and there is some "brassing" from use on the focusing ring.  The glass is A-OK -- no scratches, fungus, oil, coating deterioration, element separation, etc.
