This is an original Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman, models 670 and 671, designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller in 1956. This set dates to 1962. The shells on this set are composed of Brazilian Rosewood, and the upholstery has been freshly redone in high-end Italian pebbled leather in cognac. Additionally, the cushions are down-filled for a more luxurious feel. Both pieces have aluminum bases with polished aluminum top surfaces, and matte black powder coated sides. This set is widely considered one of the most significant designs of the 20th century.

The lounge chair measures 33 inches long, 33 inches wide, and is 31.5 inches high. It has a seat height of 15 inches and an arm height of 19 inches. The ottoman measures 21.5 inches long, 26 inches wide, and is 17.25 inches high. There are some small scuffs and scratches on the base, and some light wear to the edges of the veneer. The leather is fresh and is in pristine shape. Overall, this set is in very good condition with light wear. Please see photos.
