Offering a charming and rare early Steiff Molly dog produced 1926-34. The ear still retains the Steiff button in upper case letters with the second “f” in Steiff extended into a long arc (ff button). Remnants of the original red tag (only used 1926-1934) remain.
This endearing dog is made of wool plush light gray mohair with excelior stuffing and her head is jointed. She retains her original glass amber eyes and most of her paw stitching. She is wearing a period floral ribbon around her neck that is not original but is old and from the 1920-30’s.
She measures approx. 6” tall
