We were approached by a customer to design and construct this seat loop bracket after he was disappointed with the quality of ones for sale elsewhere.

(see customers comment below)

This seat loop is made from 16gauge (1.5mm).. 3/4 inch (19mm) mild steel with 3/32nd (3mm) thick mild steel brackets welded to it on either end to replicate the shape of the top shock mount brackets. They are in raw unfinished steel and have no holes in the brackets to allow for you to mark and fit to your own hole position and finish with paint, powder coat or chrome. They also come with two black hard plastic bungs to close off the holes in the tubes.

The approx. width of the bracket is 8 and 1/4 inch (208 mm) and from the end of the tube to the outside of the radius 10 and 3/4 (273mm) long.

Customers comment:-

"I fitted one of these to my Dommie Café racer and then carefully cut around a "Lucas" copy lamp housing which are readily available and placed a cut grommet on the cut edge to finish it and protect the paint on the loop. This lamp housing then acts as the rear bracket for the loop to hold the rear mudguard. I think this looks quite neat but other methods could be employed to secure the mudguard to it if desired".

We will post to countries outside of the "Global Shipping Programme" but before you buy you will need to find out how much the postage cost will be as I've had to faff about cancelling auctions due to the cost of postage to Asian countries

Thanks.
