VCR cycles is delighted to being to the market this mint continues and all original 2004 Cannondale Furio F400 in a size Medium (18”).

Bought new by its one original owner, used lightly for the first year and then stored away.

Unbelievably original condition for a 20 year old MTB.

Everything is as it was when it was handbuilt in the good old USA right down to the original handlebar grips and IRC tyres!

We thought the Selle Royal Viper saddle maybe a replacement but when we checked the 2004 catalogue it’s actually original spec.

The Manitou Axial Elite forks work fine, the tyres show no age related cracking, gears and brakes work spot on and both wheels roll smooth and straight.

All bearings have been checked and re-greased so the bike needs noting other than a new owner!

We checked the frame over and there is one or two small oxidation bubbles under the paint as you’d expect after 20 years but there’s no dents, cracks or damage.

If you like retro Cannondale’s and you like your bikes original then this is certainly one to consider adding to your stable.

The last photo is a screenshot from the 2004 Cannondale catalogue showing the original spec, if you zoom in on the individual spec items you’ll see nothing has been changed.

The frame is 18” from the centre of the BB to the top of the seat tube.

Centre of the seat tube to the centre of the head tube is 22”.

This doesn’t include Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Guernsey or any parts of Ireland with a UK postcode as unfortunately couriers don’t have a one price for all policy like Royal Mail.
