Authentic WW2 era covers for PU sniper scopes.
These covers were originally designed for Tokarev SVT-40 PU sniper
rifles but can also be used with Mosin-Nagant sniper rifles. Despite
their age, they are in very good condition and are guaranteed to be
original WW2 artifacts.
The
purpose of these covers is to protect the scope from dust and water when
not in use. For added protection, lens caps can be used in conjunction
with the covers. The design allows the covers to be used both ways -
with or without the caps.
Made of
heavy canvas, the covers are closed with a leather strap and metal pin.
Additionally, there is a stitched-on pocket on the front left side of
the cover, which is used for lens dusters (not included). For reference,
please see the pictures for more details.
These early types of
PU sniper scope covers are extremely rare and were based on the design
of the PE sniper scope covers, which featured a side pocket and leather
circles on both sides. However, with the beginning of the Eastern
Campaign in WW2, the design was simplified, removing the external pocket
and leather sides. Rest assured, the covers offered here are original
WW2 productions.
This offer includes one PU cover. Please note that the cover color may vary slightly from the picture shown.
