Royal Vienna Style Hand Painted Portrait Cobalt & Gold Beaded Trinket Box
Beautiful
porcelain trinket box / powder jar. Decorated in the Royal Vienna style
with a hand painted portrait of a woman on the lid framed by gold
beading. Has a cobalt blue background with raised gold floral scrollwork
and gold and white enamel beading. Marked on the bottom with an
underglaze blue beehive / shield mark. Circa 1900.
Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
Measures approximately 3 5/8 inches wide x 2 inches tall.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
