Beautiful scalloped edge Old Paris porcelain dinner sized cabinet plate. Decorated in the Sevres style with a hand painted courting couple of a man helping a woman to play flute, with a basket in front of them. With trees, water, mountains, and castle in the background. Has an elaborate celeste blue and gold gilt Neo-classical scrollwork border. Unmarked. Circa 1870s.

Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.

Measures approximately 9 1/4 inches wide.
