Description

Plans to build a Parabolic Microphone. Made from a childs disc sled this Low Cost Unit can pick up sounds hundreds of feet away - Whispers at 100 feet, and normal speech at 150 feet. Great for birdwatchers, wildlife lovers and amateur sleuths.
 
  • The microphone used with the reflector can be the ordinary microphone for your tape recorder or you can listen in with earphones and adjust the reflector for the best sound pick up.
  • Simple construction using only common hand tools and easily obtained odds and ends of materials.
