Handcrafted, Girnigoe Sgian Dubh. Very sharp Damascus steel spear point blade. Classic bog oak handle and sheath carved from a single piece of 4200 yr old bog oak from the UK. All mounts are polished nickel silver. The handle holds an authentic military crest signifying the Royal Horse Artillery . The sheath is topped by a fitted brass throat plate and is lined with black velvet. Entire knife is finished with tung oil and polished to a natural satin look. The feel of the natural bog oak is truly special.

Damascus blade measures 3 1/2”x 13/16”. The handle measures 3 1/2” long and 1 3/16” wide at the blade and tapers to 1” at the crown. The thickness at blade is 5/16” and tapers to 3/16” at the crown.

The look and finish is designed to mimic the wear and tear, repeated polishing and repairs of a ‘survivor’ knife and not a brand new build, to add to the overall look.

Very comfortable in the hand, lightweight and sits nicely in the kilt hose.

This Girnigoe series Sgian Dubh comes in a padded black suede presentation box.

Will make a great, one of a kind addition to any collection. Stylish and elegant, it is the perfect accessory to any outfit.
