NOTES: Thomas Wolfe's journal from a long summer road trip between June 20 and July 2, 1938. Viewing the map and knowing the roads and distances traveled, it appears to me that he was driving hard to make the journey complete in a short 12 days. Wolfe's note book is impressionistic, brief, and pithy. If you know the places you'll see them as never before, and rarely since described so well.  A short, high nutrition tour book that will never be out of date.
