This item Has the mark Of Sterling 1963 with a W and a circle around the W. The numbers aren’t the year that it was made, it’s the number of the piece that has been made by the William Sterling company. When I researched this item and I may be wrong, everything about it says William Sterling company. It has the mark. But more importantly what it means. it has the name Sterling, the mark of the W with a circle around it and the number of the piece that was made. There is a small area that needs to be buffed out, and few very slight scrapes that can’t be seen unless you look very close. But for being old the pen holder is in very very good shape.
