Took it straight out of the box, put a screen protector on it, put it in an OtterBox Defender Case and it has never been out since. The Otterbox has a screen protector built in as well, so double screen protection! iOS 7, upgradable to iPadOS 12.5.6. Works perfectly, battery life is good, zero issues with it outside of it being made outdated/redundant by Apple.
