CONDITION NOTES: GOOD MINUS. Loss to title page head edge (see photos): else Complete work (except for one word to title page) including both blank end leaves. Original covers with amateur leather repairs to spine. Open hinges and heavy rubbing all around. Title page signature nearly detached with a 4cm x 17cm loss to head of title page and loss of the word "THE" at head of title. No other text losses as the title page has a blank verso. Dampstaining, toning, foxing, and corner creases throughout. 20th Century gift inscription in pencil
