Half green hard grain morocco and marbled boards, back in five compartments, gilt lettered in the second, four gilt roll tooled raised bands.

Near fine clean copy with minor rubs to edges, corners and extremities. Sheets clean, unmarked, complete. No owner names or inscriptions.

Horner was one of the founders of the Edinburgh Review, a Whig member of Parliament, 1806-1817, and supporter of Fox's government. His Memoirs were first published in 1843.
