Softcover. Set of two graphic novels showcasing Robin as an emerging hero in his own right. Introduction by Chuck Dixon and ‘A Brief History of Robins’ by Dennis O’Neil plus 'Secrets of the New Robin Costume'. Storylines by Alan Grant and Chuck Dixon. Artwork by Norm Breyfogle, Tom Lyle and others.
The books have been read and are a little age-yellowed, not being on gloss paper, but for originals from the early 1990s these copies are in very good condition and have been looked after well. Light shelf wear, no creases on the spine, no tears. Text and graphics are clean and with good colour. Printed in Canada, 'Tragedy and Triumph' is a First Printing; 'A Hero Reborn' is a Second Printing. Both useful additions to any collection charting the changing faces of Batman’s youthful ward.
