DESCRIPTION: 20 cm x 25 cm. 38 pages. Sepia toned 15 cm x 20 cm landscape photography along Furka Strasse (with vintage autos).
CONDITION NOTES: Near FINE. Couple of tiny tea stains to front and a corner crease (1/8) to front cover, else pristine. Tassel in fresh condition and all leaves bright, free of creases or toning. No marks.
BINDING: Linen pattern finish to soft wraps, two holes in binding and a green silk tie with tassels.

A nice view of what the Gotthard Tunnel - opened in 1882 - intended to bypass: a series a dizzying switchbacks and stunning mountain vistas. Tourists in open motorcars (really, buses) enjoy the retro experience of crossing the Furka Strasse the hard way while taking in the breath taking Alpine vistas.
