"There are here reproduced in considerable reduction four specimen broadsides of the eighteenth century English type founders."  An effort to draw attention to the beauty of 18th century typography, the facsimiles are not strictly derived from original imprints, but composed in the 1930s from good authority and original copies by a leading bibliography and print historian.
