4 string, lovely tone, you can check the serial number for authenticity.

I bought this bass in 1999 whilst at university. I played it all over the UK including Manchester Apollo, Liverpool Cavern and many more places.

I’m older now and haven’t played this bass since 2007. It’s moved house with me and just sits in the case. I’m looking to send it off to a good home or player so that it can be enjoyed and hopefully played on stage again.

The bass is in very good condition. Here are the things you need to know before bidding:

Electrics are fine. The battery pack was re-soldered in whilst I was in tour with Starsailor (supporting). Their guitar tech did it for me.

There is a small chip in the neck at the third fret. Shown in one of the photos. This was an accidental moment where a mic stand fell over and chipped the neck. I was annoyed at the time but it doesn’t affect playing. You could get this sorted cheaply if you wanted.

Couple scrapes on the body. Some shown in the pics.

Case included. One of the clasps is broken as pictured.

More than happy for you to come and play it but you’ll have to bring an amp as I do nit have one.
