These are DAW Armchairs, initially designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1948. These examples hail from 2018. The listed price includes one chair, and we have several chairs available for purchase. Their design features the classic Eames fiberglass shell that is upholstered in taupe hopsack fabric, perched atop a 4-leg walnut base. They are properly stamped with the Herman Miller logo under each seat.

Each chair measures 24 inches deep, 25 inches wide, and is 31.25 inches tall. They have a seat height of 18 inches, and an arm height of 26.25 inches. These pieces all show similar amounts of wear, including some scrapes to the edges of their seats, and some scuffs on their bases. The walnut is in great shape. Overall, these chairs are in very good condition with light wear. Please see photos.

The buyer may pick up the furniture, have it shipped by our shipping partners (buyer will pay for full shipping cost, though will not have to arrange it), or discuss potential delivery within reason following the end of the auction. The listed shipping cost is an estimate, though we can likely stay below that number for most areas of the country. If you win the item, we can discuss shipping options, prices, etc. and we will make sure that it is as inexpensive for you as possible. We work with a shipper locally who takes great care in their work and has been complemented often on their packing and shipping quality.
