Warman FireBucker Mini Humbucker - brand new supplied with mounting springs and screws Sold as an identical pair, there is no technical differences between the bridge and neck pickup, other than the lead lengths, so either can be used in any position. You can also use them in 3 pickup set ups. The coils are a 4 wire output for coil tapping etc.
Warman FireBuckers are a twin coil mini humbucker ( fits aperture approx. 32.5mm x 70mm ) in a chrome poleless metal casing. Concealed beneath the case are two coils wrapped around carbon steel blades with a powerful ceramic magnet. The blades allow the pickup to be used with string spans of up to 54mm. Fully wax potted with the casing grounded to the base plate to eliminate hum and unwanted microphonics.
DC resistance is an average 7 k-ohm , however more importantly the inductance is 3.5 Henry so is roughly equivalent to the power of Gibson 490 (3.8H) or DiMarzio HS-3 (3.6H). Its a perfect pickup for blues and vintage rock sounds.
The frequency response chart, measured on our Pickup Analyzer, shows the response curve of our Firebuckers. The analysis was taken using 2 500k pots and a 470pF tone capacitor in the circuit so gives an indication of the voice of the pickup when installed in your guitar.
Four output wire harness to enable a variety of tonal options. If you wire these up with one of our on-on-on 3 position mini toggle switches you can get series, parallel and single coil options from the installtion of one simple switch.
These pickups sound as good as those that cost many times this price. Suitable for all types of music with a rocky heavier side from blues through to full on metal.
Warman pickups use ceramic magnets as these are even brighter than Alnico V or III, and in higher output pickups to help counterbalance the treble lost by the higher resistance (remember higher resistance means more midrange, but less highs).

If you require online tracking for your order please make sure you select the paid shipping upgrade for this. If you do not select to have tracked shipping you will not receive a tracking number, even if you request one from us we will not be able to provide one. This is not us being difficult or awkward, it is just how the system works. It is not possible to to provide tracked shipping to all international destinations as some simply do not have this facility, in these cases the service is classed as Signed For and does not have online tacking, but does have Proof of Delivery.
Shipping Times / Expected Delivery Date.
We ship all orders within one working day ( Monday to Friday ) of your payment being made. Your eBay sales record will automatically update and show that your order is on the way to you. The dates eBay give for expected arrival and only estimates of a possible date and are often widely optimistic, in reality the delivery date will often be several days after this, depending on location and the efficiency of your local postal service. This is beige our control, we do our bit by posting out as soon as possible but once it leaves us it is in the hands of the postal services as to exactly when it gets delivered. Most deliveries are problem free but in the unlikely event of there being an issue please message us first rather than using the eBay “where is my delivery” option. We are able to respond far faster by direct contact.
How do we do them so cheap ?
We buy in bulk direct from the manufacturers and only sell online. We don't have costly overheads of high street premises, there's no middle man to pay, we don't pay for fancy retail packaging etc. and these savings are passed on to you the customer.
Are they any good ?
Yes. I have been building guitars for over 30 years and these are the same quality pickups I use myself. We only sell stuff we use ourselves.
They're not seconds or regraded goods passed off as new are they ?
Defintely not. These are all brand new, 1st grade guitar parts. Ocassionally we do sell second hand or reclaimed parts and when we do this is clearly stated in the listing notes.
Can I return them ?
Yes but only if they are faulty ( see above ). We provide all the dimensions etc in the llisting so please ensure they will fit your guitar before you purchase. A couple of minutes spent with a ruler and your favourite axe will avoid the disappointment and aggro of having them turn up and not fit .

All our pick ups are sent out in brand new air bubble protected envelopes deigned to survived the rigours of the Post Office journey to you. The cost of P&P also includes the time it takes to toddle round the post office and physically post them. We also get proof of posting for ebvery item we send.
