The display assembly includes bonded LCD screen and digitizer.
The home button, home button bracket, and front camera bracket are not included with the repair part and should be transferred from the old display assembly.
Repair will require additional tools and should be completed by an experienced technician.
Display assembly replacement is moderately difficult for this iPad model. Unexperienced persons completing the repair risk causing damage to the device or repair part.
Display assembly is QC tested before shipment. Upon receipt, inspect and test the repair part before installation.
Handle with care -- the digitizer is fragile and easily cracked.
Take special care to not damage the three display connectors by pressing them too hard. Prevent LCD damage by using a battery blocker or card on the battery contacts when connecting the display connectors.
Do not remove the film until the display assembly is tested and ready for final installation. Returns are not accepted if the film is removed.
