This is an original pair of 'Bridge’ armchairs, designed by Ettore Sottsass for Knoll Studio in 1988. The listed price includes the pair. The chairs are formed of solid maple wood that has been ebonized, and have been freshly upholstered in a light grey Kvadrat Divina Melange Fabric. Production for this model was limited, and these were acquired directly from a Knoll executive. The chair’s silhouette is clearly informed by the earlier Constructivist and Secessionist design movements, two tropes which are commonly reflected in Sottsass’ Memphis style.

Each chair measures 32 inches high, 22 inches wide and 22 inches deep. Their seat height is 18.5 inches. The upholstery is new and pristine, and the ebonized finish is in good shape with some light scrapes and scuffs. Overall, these chairs are in very good condition with light wear. Please see photos.
