A lovely 1950s 'Red Top' top, designed by Marianne Westman for Rörstrand. Designed in 1956, the modern loose checkered pattern is still very attractive and eye-catching today. Called 'Red Top', this pot is actually missing the lid, the sale is just for the pot. Made of Flintware, which is a higher quality of earthenware made with flint, it is very durable.

Rorstrand is one of the most famous Swedish porcelain manufacturers. Its history is long and goes back some 300 years. The factory was founded in the town of Rörstrand, then moved to Gothenburg in 1926 and in the 1930s to Likdöping. Production in Sweden ceased in 2005.
