KHE MAC3 Street/Park 2.40 inch tire with the world's first double carcass
? After more than two years of development work, the KHE MAC3 tire is now ready for the market. Our goal was to be able to offer one of the most stable and lightest BMX 2.40" inch street/park tires. BMX tires usually have a single-layer carcass onto which the tread is vulcanized. However, since extremely high forces are involved, especially when driving on the street, and many drivers drive with tire pressures of over 6 bar, we have chosen a double carcass for optimal stability. Instead of cotton threads used in most BMX tires, the MAC3 is made with kevlar threads. kevlar is much more stable and lighter than cotton. Due to the double carcass we also have twice the number of kevlar threads. Since kevlar does not soak up rubber (which is the case with cotton), the MAC3 is still one of the lightest 2.40" inch tires on the BMX market despite the double carcass.

It all started in 1988 when the brothers Thomas and Wolfgang Göring founded the company KHE. Over the years, many innovative ideas/patents have come from KHE, such as the Multiple Butted handlebars or the Freestyle folding tires. In over 30 years we have of course gained a lot of experience that flows directly into our products. Founder Thomas Göring was himself German runner-up and fourth in the World Cup. So he knows what is important with a BMX.
KHE Teamfahrer haben schon über 10 Weltmeistertitel in allen PRO Kategorien gewonnen
