These 39¢ Romance stamps - 3nd in the Art of Disney series - were issued by the U.S. Postal Service on April 21, 2006 in Orlando, FL, as part of the 13th annual Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival at Disney World. The stamps were designed by David Pacheco of Burbank, CA, and illustrated by Peter Emmerich of New York, NY.

With the issuance of these stamp designs, the Postal Service honored the "art" of romance as portrayed by Walt Disney and his studio animators - stamps representing types of romance: Mickey and Minnie Mouse share a kiss; Cinderella and Prince Charming dance at the ball; and Beauty and the Beast also share a dance.
