Our client's rare pair of vintage Art Deco or mid-century period butterfly form sconces with delicate flowers formed from gold infused glass with polished brass frames are attributed to Barovoier & Toso, circa 1940-1960s. Each approximately 19 by 13 1/2 by 4 1/2 inches with two working standard sockets, ready for use. Each in very good condition.  There is rubbing wear to the polished, lacquered brass surfaces.

This model is said to have been designed by Ercole Barovier (1889-1974) in the 1940s and was made in two (or more) sizes and alternative positioning of the flower heads.  Today the firm makes a larger version known as the Grand Hotel sconce with the gold infused glass referred to as Gold Rugiada.

Please contact us prior to using Buy It Now so we may confirm availability, as our client has this pair for sale in their New York City gallery.  Thank you.
