I made this shawl to imitate the old lacy shawls of yesteryear.
It is made with black nylon narrow lace edging along the long edge, black nylon lace fabric and thick black cotton fringe. The fringe is very soft and is similar in feel to very fine yarn.
It is scaled for a 12"-13" modern doll dressed in period costume or even one dressed in a modern outfit that wants a lacy shawl.
Because of the fragility of the nylon lace fabric, I would say that this is for an adult collector or older child, not a young child to play with.
