Scenes of the World portfolio-Offered is a publication of photographs dated 1894 titled "A Photographic Portfolio".  There are approx. 160 two sided sheets for 320 pages out of what looks like an original 328 pages.  Starts with page 1 & ends with page 328 with some missing.  Pages are loose & came with a spring loaded spine binder that may or may not be original to the pages which are 11 x 13 1/4".  Published by W. B. Conkey Co., Chicago, 1894.  Copyright 1893 by Geo W. Ogilvie & Co., Edward L. Raymond author.  Covers buildings, paintings, lakes & picturesque scenery from 32 different countries.  Pages are in various condition stages, most very good, some tattered & some with corner folds.  The leatherette binder has a gold foil embossing with letters I am not able to decipher & is in good condition for its age.  Some really great photographs, some of things & places that no longer exist.  Each picture has a detailed description at bottom.

Included with this offer is a advertising booklet titled "The American Navy, Cuba &  Hawaii" from the F. Cappel Home Furnishings Co. of Dayton, Ohio.  Was acquired with the world portfolio & looks to be of similar age & composition.   Upper RH corners are chewed off.  Has 16 pages saddle staple bound of photos related to the US Navy in Cuba & Hawaii along with some company advertising of home furnishings of the period.
