For your consideration

1940s floral cotton dress with big rolled collar and micro pleated skirt. Unlined. No pockets. Working metal Talon side zipper. Zipper looks 30s. Feed sack style fabric of tiny roses and cornflower print. Has a slight starched feel.

Measures like a small, but the waist would not go over the shoulders of my mannequin.

The waist must clear your shoulders and bust.

Pre owned, shows general wear. Overall great dress. Presents well. Minor flaws - sold as is. Has faint discoloration & small holes in areas. There is seam separation at the underarms and one of the back waist darts is stretched. Normal surface wear. Has not been recently cleaned but I heat steamed.

“Open” shoulders - no seam

21” across top

17” pit to pit - stretches to 18” across & darted

13” across waist (26 in) - hardly any stretch, maybe up to 13.5”

“Open” hips

Skirt is around 27” long
