A Vintage Ceramic Pottery British Mantel Piece Clock And Vase Set
Decorated with a 17th or 18th century dressed courting Lady and Gentleman
These are vintage pieces with fading and the odd chip to paint ware, otherwise perfect. Clock in perfect working condition. Please see images
The base of the items is stamped made in England and numbered 695 and as far as I can ascertain this could be the Beswick Pottery Circa 1936-40 when that company similarly stamped the pieces with indented numbers along with made in England during that time frame. The items may indeed be older than this considering the artwork they are decorated with
They are quite charming when on display and its nice to hear a mechanical clock ticking away. Seem to be quite rare and so unique too as I can find no other identical looking items with all of my searching.
