1st variation Early war time badge made in pure silver by Sapporo Medal Company. Very nice medal depicting a graceful dove soaring above a Japanese Army helmet, crowned with a star. Behind that, the Great Wall of China stands tall, while three ethereal swirls grace the sky, alongside three projectiles aimed towards the wall.
Original case has the Purple Label of Sapporo Medal Company and reads as
