VERY RARE POLICAR TRACK SET A3 ITALY SLOT CARS 1973 BOXED SEE DESCRIPTION

I couldn't find any sales of this set anywhere online so I would guess this is extremely rare now and even more so to find it in the UK as most sales of Policar are in Italy. 

Impossible to find a vintage 1973 Policar set working like this. It looks to be pretty much complete, the only thing I can see missing is a spare tyre and the instructions. The box lid has a lot of wear but it is still useable.

All the track looks to be in great condition with next to no rust. The cars are both working and in great condition (apart from the small issue below).

I have not completely set up the whole track so their maybe some of the red struts missing so please study the photos as they make up part of the description.

The power pack has a European plug so you will need an UK plug adapter to use in the UK.

There are some small issues:

One of the wires has come loose in one of the cars, I reconnected the wire by hand to test the car and its working fine but it will need a more permanent soldered fix. However there is a brand new motor included so you could just swap this into the car instead.

One of the connectors for the power pack that connects to the track has also come loose. Again I tested the power by temp fixing it with tape and it worked fine. This will also require a more permanent soldered fix.

Like all old slot cars the tyres will need replacing on the cars.

Collection would be preferred as it is quite a large item but it will be well packed up for postage.
